UIL CHAMPIONS!!!
On April 11, 2017 Kilgore ISD took 4 orchestras to compete in the UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest in Tyler, TX.  All four orchestras bought home awards, and three of the orchestras brought home the highest award possible--SWEEPSTAKES!

KMS ALL REGION ORCHESTRA MEMBERS!


UIL CHAMPIONS!  All competing orchestras at KHS and KMS won awards at UIL competition at Robert E. Lee High School on April 12, 2016!

Both KHS Varsity and Non-varsity orchestras earned Sweepstakes, continuing the tradition of excellence!

KMS Advanced Orchestra brought home a sweepstakes trophy from UIL!


KMS Intermediate brought home a sightreading trophy their first time at contest!


KHS SENIORS AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS!

These KHS seniors were awarded orchestra scholarships to Kilgore College.

KHS varsity and non-varsity orchestras competed at UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest on April 14, 2015 at Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler Texas.

Non-varsity made a II on stage and a I for sight reading, bringing home a sight reading plaque.
Varsity made a I on stage and a I in sight reading, bringing home a Sweepstakes trophy!

Congratulations!!!   Great Job, Orchestras!

KMS Varsity and Non-varsity groups both gave solid, good performances on stage and in sight reading.   Both groups got a II on stage and a II in sight reading.   Great work!

KHS Chamber Orchestra

We are pleased to announce that for the Spring Semester, we will have a new student teacher, Ms. Ruby Ortiz.

We are sad to say goodbye to Ms. Bogucki, our student teacher for the fall semester.   She did a FANTASTIC job, and we wish her well in her future endeavors.
KHS High School went to see the Dallas Symphony Orchestra September 25, 2014.
